Here we are on New Years Eve of 2013 as I reflect on what has been a very successful and busy year. I released the INSIDE STYLE VOYEUR documentary with Director Mathew Knight, was able to go to the Melbourne International Film Festival world premiere of a movie I Costume Designed – These Final Hours which won The Age Critics Choice Award and is set to make it’s cinema debut in 2014 – very exciting stuff! I attended a million and one events similar to the one above with Ruth Tarvydas at her new store opening in Claremont and covered many many shows from the backstage in true Style Voyeur style. I spent the majority of the year working solely on this here blog and I must say to be able to work on Style Voyeur pretty much full time in 2013 made me wake up every single morning feeling blessed to be on this earth. I hope very much that I can do the same this coming year as well as put my skills to many new and exciting ventures and I certainly have lots of exciting new developments in store for 2014 that I can’t wait to share with you all! My New Year’s resolution is to refocus myself, to reinvent the wheel and keep bringing inspiration to the town I am so lucky to live in, Perth. Bring it on!

WE DID IT! With my bestie Jaime Lee Major at a dinner after the success of her PFF show, phew! A lot of work but we pulled it off. It was exactly what we wanted to achieve thanks to so many people including, Rebecca Grace of Natural Art Flowers for her incredible floral installation at the WA Museum.

On set antics. I did a lot of work as Costume Designer in film in 2013. Less styling and more film work for me in 2013. Not as glamorous as fashion but I wanted a challenge after years of styling in fashion and film work is certainly that but oh so incredibly rewarding too.
One Fell Swoop has a stand-alone show and flew in top NSW model, Bambi Northwood-Blyth. The girls here are in the elevator heading upstairs to backstage to get changed and go home. Check out the post HERE

A picture I took only the other day in the garden over cocktails at Mrs Brown in Fremantle. I absolutely love the juxtaposition of the clouds and the sheet metal, sort of symbolical of the past year. Mania and stillness, chaos and beauty. What a great year 2013 was and 2014 is definitely set to be even better! Not long to wait now..
