Tonight I presented a vintage styling session at the Opening of the Miss Brown pop-up store at 140 on William Street in Perth.
My assistant Jaxon and I presented looks that could be worn from day to night/office to cocktails etc. There were about 60 or so people in the audience watching me present and luckily I don’t get too nervous public speaking, however I definitely still say silly things under pressure. Now that I am home and looking at these pictures, taken for me by my trusty friend Anthony Sadler, I am remembering a few funny things.
For this look above I said, “Here she goes from working at Alcoa……to
A My Chemical Romance concert.
:/ (no pun intended, seriously!)
Maybe not exactly what I meant to get across but the outfits are still cool, as are all of the pieces from Miss Brown.
I am proud to say the Christopher Kane-esque top and leather biker jacket are now my very own thanks to the absolutely delightful Miss Brown owner/byer Madeline and Manager Kelly, who were a dream to work with!
Go check out Miss Brown @140 (opposite The Aviary.) The pop-up store is only here for 3 months and definitely not to be missed! And if you’re not in Perth, never fear! There are two of the same name on Crown St, Surry Hills in Sydney and another located in Syd (called Puff & Stuff) as well as one on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, Melbourne.
